So recently I tried running sepulchre, everything was fine until the boss. I had grabbed the group of ice eles before the boss and led them to the bosses area to help with sliver, I could not get sliver off on the boss and ended up killing the eles. Also, I was having a horrible time with his shroud skill. Any tips on how to avoid the shroud and get sliver off on him? Any advice is much appreciated.

Apparently you pull him off front or something...there's a special area.

Are you shadow-forming it?

yes i am sforming it i also have self heal for the shroud, but it still hits hard and sliver is rlly hard to pull off on him. anyone know where this special point is?

I have an idea that I usually use.

(Not a very nice idea, but it works)

get 10k or whatever the price is for the run (just in case), show your money if asked, go on the run, and pretend to be AFK frequently, wich includes staying back and rarely getting drops, but you won't be counted as a scammer if they atleast BELIEVE you are afk (wich takes some acting, ect.) so dont talk so much to team, ect.
But stay within view of both the runner and the boss, to watch the fight, and how he does it.

Also, do it on another toon, if you decide to not pay, but it's nicer if you do

Well I have watched a runner, but it didn't help because he was doing the same thing I was rlly, I just need more insight witht he sliver deal and avoiding the rings of death lol (aka shroud)

Maybe he wasnt a great runner?

Did he get it done?

If not, just go get another runner, probably an exp one comes 7/10 times.

P.S. Practice solo if possible, it will greatly help.

WTF, Helix, are you suggesting (and claiming to be doing yourself) to 'go on another toon' and scam a runner by watching the run, getting the run and not paying? As a runner myself, you are on my blacklist and I would suggest other runners to do the same. If you agree to a run and the price for that run, you should pay it if the run is successful.

Mindy: a better (and morally superior) way is to get a run and if the run does not require you to be alive (to run to a res shrine for example), just kill yourself and watch the runner first hand. That way you can precisely see his positioning and the use of skills. This is not at all frowned upon. Just remember to pay the hard working runner.

A tip to get sliver armor to target the boss: death's charge to the boss, and then attack (physically attack with your wand/staff/spear/whatever) and only then use sliver armor. Should work.

First off, I have, ONCE, but that's it.
Second, I don't need a run, I run people myself, and haven't scammed yet

Third, I'm only helping him out, but I told him it wasn't encouraged.

If you start wanding the boss before you sliver then when you do set it off the damage should be going to the boss rather than surrounding foes.

ok to both of you i did the runner thing and died (payed ofc) he made it rhough, but he also had a hard time with sliver, and as far as i saw he was running around everywhere trying to get out of the shroud.

Never heard of that, fake I bet. I just got the practice down by moving to the NEARBY area, not the "adjacent" range, like the skill states.

"Deals 5...29...35 earth damage to one nearby foe whenever you are the target of a hostile spell or attack.

Helix, I wouldn't be giving advice, you just told him to scam a runner, and you want to nerf the most balanced skills in the game.

As for sliver goes, I've green farmed nearly every boss in the game, and still don't know how sliver works.

Why are you insisting on doing this with a single character?

This dungeon is laughably easy if you dual client it and you know what you're doing. +/- 10 minutes.

Ok, skills arent my best expertise -.-

But I told him it's an option, not an encouraged one, and I said it's better if you payed.

When you are pulling the agro to the boss you can stop briefly just as you get the boss to the edge of your agro and his cronies should separate from him slightly to get closer to you. Then you can dc or run straight to the far side of the boss and hit sliver. If you are sliver distance away from boss and he is at least slightly close than his buddies he will take the damage. When sliver ends move to your safe spot and wait for sliver to recharge. Then go back and rinse and repeat.

To find the safe spot go to the right edge from the perspective of facing the boss as you run up the stairs. Go all the way to the edge. For some reason he doesn't cast his ward so it reaches there. You can use that spot to be safe as sliver recharges, to regen energy, etc whatever you need. I find that the elementals you dragged up tend to break and run off easier if you go to a comparable spot on the left so I always go right. For whatever reason as you are killing the boss they tend to bugger off one at a time here and there anyway even if you keep them in your agro bubble from the safe spot but the boss will be dead before you lose too many.
